Mindoro stands as a thriving community where progress, nature, and culture harmoniously blend. The town continues to move forward with improved infrastructure projects that strengthen connectivity, boost local trade, and uplift the lives of its residents.
Beyond development, Mindoro also captivates with its natural wonders, such as the pristine Aninuan Beach, known for its crystal-clear water and breathtaking sunsets. Complementing these achievements and natural treasures is the vibrant Bahaghari Festival, a colorful celebration that reflects the people’s resilience, unity, and pride in their cultural heritage. Together, these elements showcase Pinamalayan not only as a place of growth and beauty but also as a community deeply rooted in tradition.
Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro
There are residents, and local farmers are thankful that the road was constructed as a farm-to-market road (FMR) in Sitio Teresita, Barangay Nabuslot, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro.

The project is overseen by the Department of Public Works and Highways’ (DPWH) Southern Mindoro District Engineering Office (DEO). This is to increase economic activity, facilitate transportation, and enhance community connectivity.
The project involved concreting 0.928 lane kilometers (464.00 linear meters) of road with a 5.00-meter carriageway width and a 1.00-meter shoulder width, as well as constructing a 928.00 linear-meter retaining wall for added stability, according to Southern Mindoro District Engineer Annielyn E. Padullo, who updated DPWH MIMAROPA Regional Director Gerald A. Pacanan, CESO III.

Residents’ commutes should be made easier by the recently constructed Nabuslot FMR, which will enable agricultural products to be transported to markets more quickly and smoothly.

Bahaghari Festival
The Bahaghari Festival is held in Mindoro to honor the rainbow’s symbolic significance in the town’s history. Each year, the Oriental Mindoro town of Pinamalayan is a riot of color. The event celebrates a well-known local legend and demonstrates the resilience, solidarity, and optimism of the populace.

The Bahaghari Festival serves as a reminder of hope and fresh starts, much like the rainbow that appears in the sky following an intense downpour. Paradise is truly at the end of the rainbow, as evidenced by the Pinamalayan people’s persistent efforts to bring happiness, prosperity, and peace to their society.
Mindoro, progress and tradition go hand in hand. The town’s growing infrastructure continues to pave the way for better opportunities, strengthening both livelihood and community.
