Better Road in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro
The Oriental Mindoro District Engineering Office of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has finished a road construction project in Barangay San Carlos, Naujan.

According to the report that District Engineer Salvador E. Abad presented to DPWH MIMAROPA Regional Director Gerald A. Pacanan, CESO III, the project involved the concreting of a 464-meter road that was five meters wide and had a one-meter gravel shoulder on both sides for added durability.

By reducing travel time and alleviating traffic congestion, the improved road makes transportation safer. It also facilitates the flow of people and goods, which stimulates the local economy.
Buloc-Buloc Cove
Along the stunning coastline of Oriental Mindoro, Buloc-Buloc Cove is a hidden gem that showcases the unspoiled beauty of nature. With its clear turquoise waters, fine sandy shores, and dramatic rock formations, the cove offers a breathtaking escape for travelers in search of peace and natural charm.

The serene waters of Buloc-Buloc Cove are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking, allowing visitors to discover vibrant marine life beneath the surface. Surrounding cliffs and lush greenery frame the cove, creating a picturesque setting that makes it a favorite spot for photography and quiet relaxation.

Unlike more crowded tourist destinations, Buloc-Buloc Cove retains a sense of tranquility, making it ideal for those who want to experience the calm and simplicity of coastal life. The gentle sound of the waves, the refreshing sea breeze, and the golden hues of the sunset add to its enchanting atmosphere.
Kapakyanan Festival
The Municipality of Victoria, also referred to as the Fruit Basket of Oriental Mindoro, honors its bountiful harvests with its yearly Kapakyanan Festival on October 15. With the majority of its citizens depending on farming and fishing as their primary sources of income, Oriental Mindoro is primarily an agricultural province.

Governor Alfonso V. observes that the province is proud of its organic produce, especially considering that Bongabong is home to the largest and only certified organic rice farm in the nation.
A significant step forward from the difficulties the province previously faced has been made when Oriental Mindoro successfully rebuilt the final of the 30 bridges destroyed by previous disasters after two years of recovery efforts.
Oriental Mindoro proves that progress, natural beauty, and cultural pride can flourish side by side. The improved road in Naujan not only strengthens connections between communities but also drives local growth and accessibility. Together, these milestones reflect a province moving forward with resilience and vision while staying true to its roots—making Oriental Mindoro a place where development, nature, and culture thrive in harmony.
